El Nando is one of the freshest names at the helm of the Latin-infused club music coming out of Portugal. The DJ, Curator and Radio Host has been exposed to South American and Spanish music from a very early age. Firstly by his Spanish grandmother and, as a teenager, by his sister who practiced latin dances.
In 2019 he founded TURBO, a platform to fight the prejudgements around reggaeton culture. A Radio Show and a Club residency at Perola Negra Club, based on the principles of female and LGBTQIA+ empowerment, where El Nando gives voice and stage to the main Latinx Club protagonists.
